Hi, nice to meet you
Hello, I'm Elliot, the founder and CEO of HikeWare. Born and raised in Kent, my journey to creating HikeWare was fuelled by a lifelong passion for the great outdoors. Today, I run HikeWare full-time as a solo founder — handling everything from product curation to packing your orders personally. When I'm not working on the business, I'm usually out hiking, in the gym, or spending time with my partner and our two young children.
My real inspiration for starting HikeWare came in the aftermath of an unexpected twist. In September 2022, while participating in a fitness event, I sustained injuries that dramatically changed my lifestyle. During my recovery, I rediscovered my love for the outdoors on a transformative trip to Innsbruck, Austria. There, amidst the stunning mountain views and a small shop that made a big impression, I found a new purpose: to encourage others to experience and respect the natural world.
HikeWare was born from this vision. Launched in February 2023, our mission extends beyond providing top-quality outdoor gear. We are committed to sustainability, supporting community initiatives, and inspiring adventure. Each purchase supports environmental efforts and charitable causes, enhancing the great outdoors that brought me so much solace and inspiration.
