If you count every gram, this is the one. The Lanshan 2 Pro uses your trekking poles instead of tent poles, so a genuine two-person, two-door shelter comes in at around 1kg and packs to 34 x 15cm. The 2026 version uses SilPoly, which barely absorbs water (about a tenth as much as silnylon), so it doesn't sag overnight in the rain, plus a waterproof YKK zip instead of a storm flap.

Is it right for you?
- Great for: long-distance trails, ultralight backpacking, anyone already walking with poles.
- Look elsewhere if: you don't use trekking poles (you need two at 120–125cm, like our aluminium hiking poles), or want a freestanding tent for rocky ground. That's the Taiji 2.
Good to know
The fabric is silicone-treated on both sides, so the seams can't be taped at the factory and sealant isn't included. Seal them with a silicone-based sealer before your first wet trip: Gear Aid Seam Grip SIL or 3F UL Gear FastSil Pro both do the job. See our full range of tent seam sealers.
The solid nylon condensation guards at each end can be cut off if you don't want them, saving about 20g.

Silpoly absorbs far less water (about a tenth of SilNylon's rate) and won't sag when wet, good for general camping. SilNylon is a touch stronger, better if you're expecting extreme weather like snow.
