HikeWare Tactical Nylon Hiking Belt

This belt arrived in a simple zip lock plastic bag.It’s very sturdy and quite heavy. The elastic is very strong but it does stretch just enough to be comfortable but stay secure.The buckle simply pushes together to fasten and unfastens by pressing in the two brass locking buttons. Length adjustment is done by sliding the elastic through a very secure locking clamp (see video).I’ve always found the webbing belts supplied with walking trousers uncomfortable, especially under a rucksack belt. Last summer I tried the elastic belt I wear on my work shorts with my walking trousers and it made a huge difference. This is even better. Once you have it adjusted correctly it stays put and you hardly ever have to re-adjust it as you do often with webbing belts.This belt is comfortable, strong and very easy to adjust and fasten. It makes a real difference when out walking all day wearing a pack and at £17.99 it’s reasonably priced so it gets 5 stars.

Excellent quality well made belt with 2.5mm thick nylon weave loop and a nicely heat sealed/rounded tip. The screwed together fast-detachable articulated cast buckle is particularly impressive at this price point with a thick black finish. It slipped on quickly and easily and I wore it all week, possibly the nicest best made item of clothing I've obtained all year and at a more than reasonable price. I'm very pleased with it and would certainly buy another one without much thought.

I received this canvas belt.I have been quite impressed with this belt so far. Being of canvas with no specific punch holes for a buckle, it can be tightened to a specific length held there using a fastening plate, and I've found that it fits fantastically on me as a result. On most leather belts, I find myself having to put in in-between holes with an awl or something for it to fit as well as this one did.Unfortunately, there is a bit of a problem when it comes to the buckle itself. This belt comes with an incredibly strong buckle, with metal ends on either side that clip together very easily and conveniently, but these thick ends struggle to fit through some of the belt loops on certain trousers. At best, it can be very tricky and a bit of a faff to get this belt on certain trousers, at worst, it won't fit at all, which I have found to be the case with certain jeans that I own. That being said, when you do get this belt on, the buckle at the front is incredibly sturdy and secure, and can be undone eith a simple click. I wish other manufacturers would adopt this sort of design!I received the nylon variant of this belt rather than the slightly more expensive elastic version. The canvas material is incredibly heavy-duty, to the point sometimes that it feels a little bit uncomfortable. If you have to bend over for whatever reason, you will feel the somewhat unyielding material digging into your stomach. If I could choose again, I would perhaps opt for the elastic version.But having worn this for a few days now, I have been incredibly satisfied with how tight this belt remains, even after some quite heavy movement. I have been able to do a bit of manual labour with this and I have yet to notice any slackening throughout the day. I have no doubt that going on a hike wearing this would yield similar results.

Excellent strong, tough Belt made of material that is clearly built to last.Available in either Elasticated or Nylon, I chose the Elasticated one as I liked the idea of a little give when I'm bending down or crouching. In fact I found It doesn't actually stretch that much which is maybe just as well.The buckle is an interesting design that snaps firmly together and seems highly unlikely to come undone.The Belt measures 134cm or just over 52 inches in length inc. the buckle and is infinitely ajustable for your waist.All together a very sturdy Belt that should last you a long time and one I have no hesitation in recommending.

This is a 1.5" Nylon Tactical belt in black.The belt is quite long and has to be adjusted to your waist on arrival by simply threading it into the metal loop on one side and locking it securely into place with a metal clasp.When put on the whole belt feels premium and is very secure around your waist.The metal locking mechanism to attach both sides together gives a reassuring click when putting it together and can be released again by pressing the 2 metal prongs back in which it does easily.Overall this is a quality tactical belt. Brilliant!

I chose to order the elastic belt which is 50 inches in length but has been designed where it fits anyone up to that size, but because its the elasticated version there is some more give in the belt. The reason i chose the elastic is i know i need to wear belts for some items of clothing and therefor like to have softer elastic belts so theres not that stiffness that can cut into me. The belt has a quick release buckle ideal for when im out walking or hiking also for me personally the belt is ideal to help use as part of first aid if needed. It fits well and is very comfortable, its been designed for outdoor wear but is easily used for everyday belt wear too. At the time of ordering the belt was £17.99 The versatility of the design of the belt makes it good value for money in my opinion.

The thing I like most about this, is that whilst it has good strong elasticity, it’s not too tight, I don’t find it uncomfortable in any way.The thickness of the belt is good too, I can put it on jeans, or combats pants and it fits nicely. The width keeps it nicely in place too, it doesn’t easily fall out off my trouser loops, it sits nicely and stays in place well.Now the metalwork of the buckle seems very good, I like the mechanism a lot, it holds down very well when the belt is threaded through, and I think the “Clunk” of the buckle when it’s done up, is a very satisfying and reassuring that my belt will hold.I think the over all aesthetic of the belt is very good, I like how the buckle looks a lot, the way it has a primarily black finish, with then some “Brass/Gold” bits, and a couple of “Silver pins” that hold the buckle together, I just think it looks very good.All in all I just think this is a very capable and well made, strong belt, I’m very happy with it.

This looks fantastic and is of the highest quality. My image does not do it justice but the sellers depicts it very accurately. The nylon is tough and as good as I have seen and the buckle itself is of a wonderful design and is sturdy and rugged. I love the depth of the blackness. This feels and looks like a mans belt. I tried it with light and dark jeans and it looked great on both. The clasp works very well and feels as if there is no danger at all of it coming apart by itself. The entire mechanism is very well engineered and feels very tough.So why not five stars? Well, I guess the size of my gripe depends on how often you are going to put the belt completely off and on. The part of the buckle that you thread the webbing through is too large to fit through the loops on a pair of jeans, this means you have to completely remove it each time you want to take the belt off or put it on. This also risks misplacing that part of the belt for the next time you want to use it.Another minor negative is I had to return to the website to figure out exactly how it worked – a small graphic in the bag wouldn’t go amiss.Maybe I am nitpicking and those issues might only bother me. If they don’t concern you then this belt is perfect – it really is quite stunning to look at and of a premium quality.Good belts are not cheap which also makes this excellent value for money.

Great belt, great quality and it looks amazing

The belt material itself has some elasticity but feels rugged at the same time. The buckle is also heavy, solid and feels like it will last. I ordered the smaller size and found it correct for my 32" waist, there was around 5-6" spare length after fixing the buckle, so not too much

The HikeWare tactical belt (nylon) is very good quality at a great price. Like most tactical belts the buckles won’t go through the belt loops on most walking/hiking trousers, but that just takes a minute to sort out by unclamping the belt from the adjustable side of the buckle. The great thing about this type of buckle is that you can adjust the belt for the perfect fit.

The kit feels incredible.

Socks are great for my staff, everyone has a pair at this point and the belts are so well done, just great.

Fits wellGood value for money Strong and easy to clip together

This nylon belt is very strong, but one thing that is very different to any other belt I have ever seen is that it fastens together like a seat belt! It is easy and fast to undo and clip back together. The only downside to this design is that it does stick out a big and for someone with a tummy it does press in a lot and a lot less comfortable than a regular belt.I do like the function and strength of the belt and I will use it but less than I would have hoped

Very comfortable and easy to clip on and off. Heavy duty, but also quite lightweight.Very good quality, made well and well worth its price. Plus it looks really nice too.Would highly recommend

This belt is everything I needed it to be really; long enough compared to my old one, actually stay made and not be uncomfortable. Luckily it is comfortable and does stay made and is long enough. Would recommend.
