Kelly Kettle Trekker Kit - Fire Kettle and Stove (Stainless Steel)

The Kelly Kettle Trekker Kit is the lightweight solo option in the Kelly Kettle range, designed specifically for trekkers, hill walkers, backpackers and solo adventurers who need to travel fast and light. At just 1.17kg for the full kit, it is compact enough for any pack without compromising on cooking capability. Whether you are out on a long day hike, a multi-day backpacking trip, kayaking, or putting together a bug-out bag for emergency preparedness, this kit has you covered. Fuel it with twigs, pine cones, dry grass or bark and you can boil water and cook a hot meal without carrying a single gas canister.

What's Included

• 0.6L Stainless Steel Trekker Kettle, Fire Base and Green Whistle - the whistle lets you know when the water has boiled
• Cook Set - 0.45L pot, frying pan (doubles as a pot lid), 2-piece grill and gripper handle
• Pot / Fire Base Support - use it over the chimney top to cook while the kettle boils, or place it under the fire base to prevent scorching on grass, decking or picnic tables
• Small Hobo Stove - turns the fire base into a standalone wood-fuelled camp stove for extended cooking
• 350ml Camping Cup - stainless steel with silicone CooLip piece and foldable handles
• Drawstring Storage Bag

All items are stainless steel and pack neatly inside the kettle and bag for transport and storage.

Please note: plates and a large cup are not included in this kit. This is intentional - Kelly Kettle redesigned the Trekker kit to keep it as compact and lightweight as possible for the solo adventurer.

Three Ways to Cook

1. Over the chimney - sit the pot on the support above the chimney top while the kettle boils below. Good for soups, noodles or anything that heats quickly.
2. Hobo Stove - once the kettle is done, lift it off and place the Hobo Stove on the fire base. Feed it with sticks and you have a stable wood stove that works with any pot or pan for as long as you need it.
3. Grill - lay the 2-piece grill across the fire base and cook meat, fish or veg directly over the coals.

Please note: Always carry the kettle upright when it is filled with water to avoid spillage from the spout or chimney top. If your kettle came with an orange rubber or cork stopper, remove it before use. Never boil the kettle with the stopper in place.
