HikeWare Premium Merino Wool Socks

First outing 10km through rain and mud, and my toes were lovely and warm thoroughout. The padding gives great comfort and support. Socks can make or break a hike, and these are great socks! More colours please 🙏🏻

Really comfortable and warm walking socks that have served me well on several hikes. The also protect your feet from boot/shoe rubbing and also allow them to breathe thanks to the natural fibres.

Love these socks, they have a higher percentage of merino wool than others I have, the mix is perfect. It is amazing how warm they keep my feet; you start to feel a difference within minutes. I love that my boots fit properly with these, they aren’t thick like some winter socks despite how warm they are. They are very comfortable to wear, the heels and toes are perfectly shaped with no rough seams and the fit is perfect too. They don’t slip down into my boots, and they keep my feet perfectly sweat free despite the warmth. A fantastic pair of socks that can be worn with boots, shoes or trainers. Superb.

To preface this review, I am size 8 UK.I find these socks very comfortable. They keep my feet warm without making them sweaty.They have a stretchy elastic, making them easy to put on. I feel that if I had larger ankles, the socks would feel constrictive from the elastic, but because I haven't they fit nicely.They slide quite a lot on my wooden floor, so be careful if you plan on wearing them on wooden/tiled flooring.

These are not thick socks, but they fit very snugly without feeling tight.Although they are 48% soft merino wool (which should make them lovely and warm), the nylon should make them hard-wearing, and the spandex definitely makes them fit snugly.The socks are knit with different patterns for different parts of the sock - difficult to show up on a photo of black socks, but I've shown one sock from the outside, and the other inside-out, so you can hopefully see for yourself. Part of the sock is knit in an open texture that will definitely help my foot to breathe and for moisture to escape/dry quickly (see other photo of me wearing it - the pale bits are my skin showing through).The socks have no bulky seams to cause blisters, and the elasticated design means they fit and grip snugly without being tight, so I should have no problems with them falling down or rubbing against my boots when out for a day's walking.Washing instructions say they are machine washable at 40°C, which is good and practical, and I hope they will prove to be quick to dry, too.Initially, I am delighted with these, and will return with an update if I have any problems with them at a later date, but somehow I don't think I will. They have the potential to be the best pair of walking socks I've had so far!

Really like this pair of socks. They have a brilliant quality feel to them and are super comfy. The fact they are merino wool means your feet feel proper snug. They fit very well, I’m a size 7 and the socks fit me perfectly. Would definitely recommend them

When ordering these I did wonder how I'd ever bring myself to rate a single pair of socks costing £18.99 anything more than 3 or 4 stars considering you'd get 10 pairs for same price at local supermarket. Well I've changed my mind, immediately see / feel it's a high quality product, beautifully soft. So comfortable to put on, not like cheap socks which I've ripped before due to effort of getting them on. Went walking yesterday, no complaints, felt great and didn't get damp. While I still feel their quite expensive, the cost is somewhat outweighed by the comfort offered whilst walking so worth it. If your looking for a one off purchase for good quality walking socks this could be them. Recommended.

I usually get quite sweaty feet on long walks but immediately these feel different to other socks I've had so far. They feel so lovely it's hard to explain.

Arrived quickly. Minimal packaging. They are nice and soft, and they do keep your feet relatively warm. They not the thickness I would expect from hiking boots, to provide that nice padded comfort for endurance/lengthy hiking. The warmth is not superior, I have had allot less provide allot more warmth and comfort. This product is expensive due to its brand, not its quality, nor its capability, therefore would opt for different in the future.

I go through a lot of socks, as I hike/walk on a regular basis, so ordering these was a no brainer. The socks are good quality, thick, very supportive and protective of the ankles (imperative when wearing hiking boots), and they wash very well. My only negatives are the price is a little bit too much, and that the socks are described as Premium Merino Wool, but only contain 48% of merino (the rest being made up of nylon, acrylic and spandex), so I thought that was a tiny bit misleading, but a decent product nonetheless.[NOTE - please excuse the lack of photos, but I have already reviewed these socks three times, and deleted the pics after uploading, but my review keeps disappearing! Am I doing something wrong? x]

Great product I recently used them on an 11 mile walk and I have no complaints I highly recommended this product

This is lovely, soft pair of socks, that is deliberately thin but at the same time warmer than casual cotton socks. Breathable and very comfotable. Only one thing that I have quite thick calfs so it digs in them a little bit, but it is not something that is super annoying.
